Deeper and Deeper (hymn)
"Deeper and Deeper" is a 1915 hymn with words and music by Oswald J. Smith.〔Kenneth W. Osbeck - 101 Hymn Stories -1982 Page 64 "Dr. Smith gives the following account of the writing of "Deeper and Deeper" in his book, The Story of My Hymns: "the melody of this hymn sang itself into my heart and with it the words, 'Into the heart of Jesus, deeper and deeper I go."〕〔Kenneth W.
